Stunning views of Instow and the river.
My stay was unbearable due to multiple issues. The room was freezing with ineffective heating, causing discomfort throughout the night. I was appalled by the lack of breakfast options and the slow service, prompting me to question the value for money at £120 per night.

My stay at Sailors Rest was delightful! The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a stunning view of the estuary, especially during sunrise. The breakfast at the nearby pub was exceptional, featuring various delicious options and remarkable views.
Only stayed one night.

The room was spacious with comfortable furnishings and excellent views from the skylights, making it a welcoming retreat. The breakfast, featuring delightful Moroccan pancakes, was a highlight, though it could benefit from a more substantial menu. A small shelf in the shower would enhance convenience, especially for toiletries. Accessible parking made arrival smooth, but clearer signage could help future guests find the property more easily.

The room I stayed in was super clean with a great setup, and I really appreciated the fresh milk provided. The view from the window was a real showstopper, especially at sunrise. you couldn't ask for a better backdrop to start your day.
Unfortunately, I had a bit of a tricky experience with the shower cubicle, which felt quite cramped. even as a smaller guy, I had a tough time not bumping into things. The window blind in my room was a bit short, meaning some light slipped through, which could be bothersome for light sleepers, especially since noise from pedestrians could be heard late into the night. Plus, the key code for the main entrance was less than user-friendly, particularly after dark if you’re navigating with less-than-perfect eyesight.

The location offered easy self access with spacious ground floor accommodations. We appreciated the well-presented room featuring fresh milk and a reasonable selection of teas and coffees.
Noise from pedestrians walking past could be a concern for light sleepers.
